The Northern Oconto County area offers you beautiful scenery....800 acres of lakes right from your dock...hundreds of miles of hiking and ATV trails...and not a single stop light!

Port Townsend Resort (formerly Hillcrest Lodge) is located on the 800+ acre Townsend Flowage near Townsend, Wisconsin. The Townsend Flowage is a full recreation lake, offering phenomenal waterskiing, jet skiing, fishing and swimming in the summer and ice fishing in the winter. Northern Oconto County offers a wide variety of opportunity for recreation, with miles and miles of hiking trails, ATV and snowmobile trails and just an excellent place to relax. Townsend is snowmobile friendly offering open snowmobile routes right to your cabin door. Townsend offers great snow in the wintertime, since it is located in one of the highest elevations to be found in Wisconsin.

Townsend is also very ATV friendly--all Townsend roads are open to ATV’s, meaning you can drive your ATV right to your cottage door.

Port Townsend Resort offers several cabins and cottages, complete with kitchen, deck, and private shower. Our newest cottages, “Cathedral Pines” and "Moonlight Bay" each offer a beautiful fireplace to help get warm after a day of recreation.  As a result of recent upgrades all but one of our cottages are each equipped with a fireplace.

You won’t have to travel far for a meal. Cabins and cottages are located near Hillcrest Lodge restaurant, located in a beautiful spot just over the Nicolet bridge with a commanding southern view of the Townsend Flowage. This restaurant is under new ownership and is not connected to Port Townsend Resort. Watch the boats (or in winter snowmobiles) travel under the Nicolet bridge that connects the North and South portions of the lake. Enjoy a beverage as the staff at the Hillcrest prepares your table. Choose from an extensive variety of dining options including Prime Rib, Fresh Walleye, Broasted Chicken and Lake Perch.
